Sermon - Sunday, February 1, 2026 - The Rev. Charles Mooney The One Who…Blesses In the sermon, we step into Jesus’ teaching on what it truly means to be blessed. In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus reveals that blessing isn’t about strength, success, or self-sufficiency—but about life in the Kingdom of Heaven, which is already here and fulfilled in him. Jesus calls us to recognize our need for God, to let our hearts of stone become hearts of flesh, and to live in humble dependence on his grace. The Beatitudes are not goals to achieve, but realities we discover when we turn to Christ with our emptiness and trust him to fill it.
