Batman: Arkham Knight’s first major piece of DLC is out, “A Matter of Family” which acts as a prequel to all the Arkham games and has a not-paralyzed Batgirl facing off against the Joker and Harley with the help of Robin. Today it unlocks through the $40 season p for Arkham Knight, which promises more “episodic” content like this for months come. I would hope so, because this first offering is relatively light. The Joker has taken over a sea-bound amusement park where he’s decided to take away Commissioner Gordon (Batgirl’s father) along with a few other security guards that must be rescued. It’s a very, very small space, and is essentially one long mission from start to finish, with little exploration necessary and none of Arkham’s typical sidequests/minigames distracting you. Batgirl is functionally identical to Batman in almost every way, the only difference being that she has less gear. She can’t do the famous “zip up and start flying” move for map traversal, but the map is so small you won’t need it. You still have the batarang, hacking tool, batclaw and freeze gel, but all of Arkham’s other new toys are gone. Subscribe to CommunityGame: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c...
