2017 Hyundai Elantra Walkaround Review - Los Angeles Auto Show

Hot on the heels of the world premiere at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show, Edmunds presents a quick overview of the fully redesigned 2017 Hyundai Elantra. When the new Elantra hits showrooms early next year shoppers will notice the new exterior styling that brings it in line with the rest of the Hyundai lineup. The interior also received a makeover with a new design and improved materials throughout. A handful of new safety features like frontal collision mitigation, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring and cross-traffic alerts will also be available. Finally, the Elantra's engine lineup gets a boost in power while still improving fuel economy. A 147-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder is expected to achieve 33 mpg, while a 1.4-liter turbo choice will be offered in the Eco model and return 37 mpg.
