R&A Psalm Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time 2026, Psalm 112

NOTES: I took it upon myself to capo the guitar to 5 and play Am chords. It's the same key, but if felt that for beginner/intermediate guitar players chords like Gm and Bb can be a little tough to pull off, plus I like being able to use as many open strings as possible. I wish they had printed the music this way to begin with. If you want a copy with my capoed chords, send me an e-mail to [email protected] and I can get it to you. Also, this is a little SLOW. Feel free to move it ahead a little more than I did To support my ministry via Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/chrisbrunelle... To purchase this music: https://www.ocp.org/en-us/collections... Respond and Acclaim Responsorial Psalm Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time February 8th, 2026 Psalm 112:4-5,6-7,8-9 The just man is a light in darkness to the upright Light shines through the darkness for the upright; he is gracious and merciful and just. Well for the man who is gracious and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice. He shall never be moved; the just one shall be in everlasting remembrance. An evil report he shall not fear; his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord His heart is steadfast; he shall not fear. Lavishly he gives to the poor; his justice shall endure forever; his horn shall be exalted in glory. Music: Owen Alstott copyright 1977, 1990, OCP
