The project continues in its second half with the reveal of the Extra Cups! All of the racing tracks from the very first Mario Kart game return in this game as Extra content and also offer a nice little challenge when it comes to collecting more golden trophies. Like I did with the regular Cups in this game, I will go over these Extra Cups twice as well. Starting of with a run on 100cc. Let us begin with this interesting addition to this game. Mario Kart: Super Circuit is the first Mario Kart game on a handheld system and the third installment in the series in total. With the Game Boy Advance able to handle graphics and processing power better than the SNES, this game feels like an improvement of the 2D Mario Kart system the first game invented. With more crazy venues than ever before combined with tough to handle driving mechanics, Super Circuit is sometimes seen as the black sheep of the Mario Kart family.
