Today I breakdown the history and plot of the Off-Broadway modern cult classic! Written by Laurence O'Keefe of Leally Blonde and Heathers, Bat Boy burst onto the scene in 2001 leaving a trail of blood (and laughs.) The show, based on the wacky supermarket tabloid star, starred Deven May and Kerry Butler and features a killer score, over-the-top situations and DARK humor.
