Joe Renda Sits In On My Buddy Rich Slingerland Drum Set

Just like the great Buddy Rich would do when he saw a great drummer come in to see him play,I always like to do the same and have him sit in.One of the best drummers I know playing today is my very good friend Joe Renda from New York. This man can do it all on the drums. Without knowing at all what my friend Tony Castellano Jr. was going to play on piano,Joe Renda just listened and played it like the pro he is. Very relaxed and just made the music feel great with his swinging drumming. Joe playing on my Slingerland Buddy Rich drum set with the big open sound made it look easy. So wonderful to have my friend Joe Renda sit in so I get to hear him play. It`s an honor for me to call Joe a true and wonderful friend who happens to be a great drummer. Ken Loomer and Joe Renda friends forever!
