Story - Far from the shores of DK Isle, a gold rush mining excavation commences on Ingot Isle focused on acquiring Banandium Gems that were recently found in its mines. Donkey Kong, hearing of this, travels to the mines in order to acquire some for himself, only to witness the company VoidCo., led by Void Kong, sweeps up the gems and sink the mine underground with their ship. In pursuing after the company, DK encounters a talking, living rock, who decides to join him after he rescues it.
