Masters pre’66 touring cars racing at Btands Hatch

Hello guys it’s Motorsport_Harry here. Do you want to see a championship that has both fire-spitting V8 Mustangs and Inline 4 mini coopers. Do you what a championship that had Steve ‘Super GT’ Alvarez Brown and ex BTCC driver Sam Tordoff ? Then look no further than the Masters pre’66 touring cars. It’s crazy to think that these cars genuinely went up against each other. With every championship nowadays having a strict set of rules and regs, it’s nice to throw that out the window and have some fun. It’s amazing how two totally different cars like a Mustang and a Mini can go head to head and have a great battle. Chuck in some Fords and Alfas then you have yourself an incredible championship and one of the best races of the day. The race lasted an hour which is why it’s so incredible to think that there was action all the way to the end. There are two classes. Above 2 liter and under 2 liter, but there isn’t much of a difference as the big V8s are quick on the straights, but the others will soon catch them in the corners. Hope you enjoy. Peace
