Overnight, a home in Meridian was struck by gunfire, and police are investigating the incident. Meridian Police Department officers recovered a stolen vehicle shortly after it was taken Friday night. The Newton Police Department has charged a man with felony marijuana possession while armed. Early this morning, a vehicle struck gas pumps during a rollover accident on Highway 39, and another rollover accident was reported near Baptist Hospital early Sunday morning.
