Moment of Truth… Test Fitting the Windscreen Classic Car Body Swap

This is a big milestone in the SubaRancho build which is a classic car body swap for Jonny Smith from the ‪@TheLateBrakeShow‬ After a huge amount of measuring, cutting, fabrication and welding, we finally finish the custom windscreen surround that ties the Talbot Matra Rancho shell into the Subaru chassis. This has been one of the most important structural parts of the entire build so far, and in this episode we reach the moment of truth… test fitting the windscreen glass for the first time. If the windscreen doesn’t fit, it means the surround, roof line, and shell alignment could all be wrong — so this is a seriously important stage of the build. This project is a full classic car body swap, combining a Talbot Matra Rancho with Subaru Impreza WRX running gear to create a completely one-off custom car. Every episode we get closer to turning two cars into one complete vehicle. Check out the full series here:    • Suba-Rancho: Rust Revival – WRX Swap Meets...
