Original DVD Release Date: January 6, 2004 Here's what the opening to the DVD release to SpongeBob SquarePants: The Seascape Capers would look like if it was released on October 7, 2003 (a week after the VHS/DVD release of SpongeBob SquarePants: Christmas and 3 weeks prior to the home media releases of the shows 1st season set) instead of January 6, 2004 Here's the order: 1. Instead of being one of the first few titles to come out in not just January 2004, but in the year 2004 altogether with the other January 6, 2004 titles, it would instead be one of the first few titles to come out in October 2003 with the other October 7, 2003 titles as a week prior was the last day of September that year, in which that was September 30, 2003 in this case NOTE #2: And with that out of the way, it makes sense having the theatrical trailers to Brother Bear and The Incredibles and the trailers to George of the Jungle 2, Finding Nemo and Aladdin: Special Edition as some of the opening previews on here, because not only does this show take place underwater just like Finding Nemo, but Patrick Pinney (who is in Brother Bear, The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and Aladdin), Rodger Bumpass (who is in Brother Bear and The Incredibles) and Dee Bradley Baker (who is in George of the Jungle 2) are some of the actors in this show, so it all makes sense here, and it already makes sense having the theatrical trailers to Brother Bear and The Incredibles as some of the opening previews on here for more than two reasons, and this would be one of the earliest DVD releases to have the trailer to Aladdin: Special Edition as October 7, 2003 as we said is the earliest it can be used and the only appearance of that trailer before then hasn't been announced, but if it does, it would have to be a July or August 2003 title for sure NOTE #3: The theatrical trailer to The Incredibles and the trailers to The Lion King 1 1/2 and The Santa Clause 2 were some of the opening previews on disc 2 of the 2003 DVD release of Finding Nemo (which was released on November 4, 2003) while the theatrical trailer to Brother Bear and the trailers to The Lion King 1 1/2, George of the Jungle 2, Finding Nemo and The Santa Clause 2 all appeared as some of the opening previews on the 2003 DVD release to The Lion King (which was also released on October 7, 2003), that's pretty interesting here for sure NOTE #4: This video is made to commemorate with the fact that today marks 22 years since this came out on VHS and DVD, so happy 22nd anniversary to this SpongeBob home media release And @firstzachattackdvdblu-rayo3142, if you're watching this, this video is for you.
