Former India number 1 Parupalli Kashyap has been fighting his fitness issues to reach on the top once again. It was almost three and half years back that the Indian shuttler reached the semi-finals of a Super Series/World Tour 500 event and with a win over Thailand’s Tanongsak Saensomboonsuk in the pre-quarters of the India Open 21-11, 21-13, he is one win away from getting back into the semis stage. Kashyap post his win talked about his fitness concerns, coaching wife Saina Nehwal and his focus for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
