Fractal Design Ridge Cooling Upgrade – Noctua & Arctic Airflow mods!
📌 Subscribe for more GPU benchmarks, PC builds, and gaming performance tests: / @techanobi In this video, I showcase my latest Fractal Design Ridge mini-ITX build, focused on maximum airflow and thermal optimization in a compact vertical case. This build features strategically placed slim Noctua fans and an Arctic GPU exhaust fan to efficiently remove heat from the CPU, GPU, and PSU—perfect for high-performance small-form-factor (SFF) gaming PCs. To improve thermals, I installed dual Noctua NF-A6x15 60×15mm slim fans mounted as exhaust above the Corsair SF1000 PSU, helping pull hot air directly out of the case. I also added dual Noctua NF-A6x15 60×15mm slim fans on the bottom of the case below the CPU cooler to help exhaust hot air from the CPU. An additional Noctua NF-A6x25 60×25mm fan is front-mounted using a custom 3D-printed bracket to exhaust excess heat from the front of the chassis. For GPU cooling, an Arctic P8 slim 80mm fan is mounted above the graphics card to prevent heat buildup and improve overall airflow efficiency. All cooling fans are connected to a Noctua NA-FH1, 8 Channel Fan Hub on the back of the case.
