At just 17 years old, Kiri Ferres-Jones didn’t hesitate when she saw a woman collapse with a severe leg injury in a Ferntree Gully market. Thanks to her calm and decisive actions, the woman survived. Kiri’s courage has earned her the St John Ambulance Victoria First Aid Champion of 2025, taking home the overall prize, including a brand new G5 defibrillator.
