In my decade long experience in financial advising, I have seen a varied misconception regarding the need of health insurance. The result of which brings in a weird reluctance in investing in health insurance and even at times people end not investing in one. The consequences of it in case of some unfortunate health hazards could be devastating to an extent that it could take away the entire hard earned savings of your life. Thus, though it may not apparently be frugal to invest in health insurance but it is always a wise decision to invest in one.
