Originally assembled on June 10, 1970, this 1970 Corvette LT1 features a fresh 2014 NCRS Top Flight award, and is in OUTSTANDING condition inside and out, looking to have received a no expenses spared, nut and bolt BODY-OFF restoration. Just 1,287 cars were built with the small block powerhouse LT1 engine for 1970, and this is also one of just 3,191 built with the optional deluxe/leather interior as well. This car's paint looks to be recent, and is vg with a great shine. All exterior glass in this car shows a correct date code, and chrome bumpers are exc with a recent finish. Weatherstripping, taillights, and exterior door handles all appear to be recent, and are exc. Rally wheels, trim rings, and center caps are all vg-exc, and Firestone Wide Oval raised white letter bias-ply tires are BRAND NEW with a full 13/32nds tread depth remaining. The interior of this 1970 Corvette LT1 is just as nice as the exterior, with exc leather seats, gauges, steering wheel, center console, carpet, storage bins, dash pad, and correct GM seatbelts. Correct appearing AM/FM radio is also in place, and Lloyd floor mats with Corvette script have been added. Clock is currently working with what appears to be a correct non-quartz movement. The numbers matching engine in this 1970 Corvette LT1 shows original casting date May 20, 1970, and final assembly date May 26, 1970. Correct air cleaner, carburetor, intake manifold, valve covers, ignition shielding, air pump, radiator hoses, and exhaust manifolds are all in place. Frame and underside have been extensively detailed, and this car is ready to show. This car has been fully serviced, and all instrument gauges, lights, turn signals, brakes, engine, transmission and rear-end are all in good operating condition.
