Street scene STORYLINE: The violence continued in Iraq on Thursday as missile attacks by U.S. helicopters targeted Baghdad's Sadr City while a roadside bomb was detonated near Shaab Stadium in the capital. The roadside bomb exploded next to a police patrol near Shaab Stadium, central Baghdad, wounding 5 people including 3 policemen said police. The blast also damaged a police vehicle. AP Television footage showed a damaged police vehicle being towed by crane away from the site. Meanwhile, five people died and four were injured in missile attacks by US helicopters in Sadr City, Iraqi police said. The US military said on Thursday that four gunmen were killed in a late-night strike by Hellfire missiles on a group of men firing at troops who were putting up concrete barriers around a checkpoint. Police said two of the victims in that attack were brothers aged seven and nine. Police and residents said nine other people were injured the air strike. AP Television pictures showed two deep craters and a piece of a shell nearby. The footage also showed wounded people in al-Sadr general hospital, and a funeral procession. Iraqis in the capital Baghdad reacted on Thursday to the Petraeus' report.
