In a pot heat oil and add onion, cook until translucent. 2. Now add mutton and cook until mutton changes color. Add ginger garlic paste and cook for 1-2 minutes. 3. Add tomatoes and cook until tomatoes get soft. 4. Now add red chili powder, red chili flakes, salt, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and cook for 2-3 minutes. 5. Add 2 cups water, cover, and cook until mutton is half done. 6. Now add soaked yellow lentil, red lentil, split chickpeas, and 3 cups of water. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until dal and meat get tender. Your dal gosht is ready. 7. In a pan heat oil and garlic, cook for a minute.
