On February 3, 2023, the country's largest lender, SBI, stated that its overall exposure to the Adani Group is 0.88% of the book, or around 27,000 crore. SBI chairman Dinesh Khara stated that the bank does not expect the struggling ports-to-mining firm to face any difficulties in servicing its financial obligations, and emphasised that SBI has not made any loans against shares to the group. Adani Enterprises shares are currently set to be delisted from the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices, effective before the market opens on Tuesday, February 7th, 2023.
