China Optimizes Reservoir Operation to Help Flood Control in Yangtze River Basin

Chinese authorities have been adjusting the water levels of major reservoirs along the Yangtze River to help regions in the middle and lower reaches cope with floods caused by downpours in recent days. To further reduce flood control pressure in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, authorities decided Saturday to reduce the discharge flow of the Three Gorges Reservoir to 19,000 cubic meters per second. http://www.cctvplus.com/news/20200712...
