Uhuru dares DP William Ruto to quit government if unhappy

President Uhuru Kenyatta has today told Deputy President William Ruto to resign from government if he is dissatisfied. In a candid chat with media editors at the state house Nairobi, the president left little doubt as to the broken state of his relation with Ruto; his deputy of 9 years and running mate in two elections. The audience with editors saw the president also speak candidly on the recent decision of the court of appeal on BBI, terming the loss of the case a loss for the country and not him personally. Citizen tv's political editor Francis Gachuri was at the state house for the wide-ranging interview with President Kenyatta.
