I haven't done any new videos in forever, so what the hell? I'll do a walkthrough of Tomb Raider 4! Though it came as no surprise that Lara would be back for another adventure for the fourth year in a row, critics were beginning to tire of her annual exploits by the time The Last Revelation hit shelves in late '99. The game did, however, boast major graphical improvements over previous entries, as well as a 'return' to the puzzle and exploration based gameplay of the original, over the more action-oriented focus of the sequels. Personally I find the fourth Raider to be the best of the classic series, though it's not without its flaws; largely in the form of a few bugs as the result of a rushed development cycle. Perhaps a harbinger of things to come, but at the time, The Last Revelation was yet another major success for the lucky lady. In a departure from previous titles, the fourth game begins not at Croft Manor, but in Lara's past, as we recount a teenaged adventure with former mentor Werner Von Croy, in the Cambodian ruins of Angkor Wat... Check out those pigtails! SECRETS: All secrets in this level are in the form of Golden Skulls. Finding them all allows Lara to take a different path through the next level, though I'll only be covering the harder path (because why would you want to watch a walkthrough of the easy path, right?). • #1 - 00:57 (Right at the start, actually. Just behind where Werner is standing) • #2 - 02:36 (In the first pool that Lara is supposed to jump over) • #3 - 05:19 (Beneath a balcony in the large outdoor area) • #4 - 08:39 (At the bottom of the large pool. Lara might say there's nothing but 'priceless seaweed' there, but she's wrong 😉) • #5 - 13:54 (To the side in the large outdoor area with the boars) • #6 - 14:34 (Just to the right of the column in the passage with the spikes, just before the large 'wheel' door) • #7 - 15:40 (In the crawl space; head left instead of straight on) • #8 - 18:32 (On the balcony behind Lara as she enters the courtyard. Make sure you grab it BEFORE talking to Werner if you want to play through the hard path in the next level)
