Black Ops 2 zombies Bus Depot round 50 run

Black Ops 2 zombies Bus Depot round 50 run

Finally got my 50 bomb on BO2 Bus Depot, a super tough zombie survival map. Expand description for strat summary + mini review. Tutorial + midgame play first part of video, full round 49 43:56, perfect drop cycle 26:18, thumbnail drama 35:36. Strategy : Rounds 1-3 I try to run inside depot, round 4 I normally exit depot and run box side camp and hit box for preferred loadout of Ray + EMPs while defending box side through round 9. I fallback to lava alley camp when pushed which is easy to do up to round 9 if you get any kind of a halfway decent gun out of box. Rounds 10 and above I start rounds and hordes in fog, When in fog no zombies spawn in depot. This gives you some control over where the zombies will be coming from when exiting fog for a horde trainup. The main idea of my particular strat is to exit fog fairly quickly after round/horde start then immediately loop back into fog with a garage side cutback around bench to buy time for zombie spawns to develop. Then run a clockwise loop from street to garage side and head to box side if blocked. From box side return to fog side with top clockwise loop, round up horde street/garage side, take it into fog and ray it. Repeat the exit fog/immediate loopback into fog/garage side clockwise loop mode through round 14-15. Rounds 16 and above its possible to get away with one fog loopback and head to box side since spawn develops faster. On round 25 and above I board the 2 bus depot front windows and start training up the horde in the depot. I selectively board the mp5 window depending if I want to allow carpenter drops or not to try to force carpenters to get a perfect drop cycle. Its necessary to hold fog for as long as possible round starts and horde starts to avoid too many spawns in the depot on early rounds. On round 31 and above I start hitting for RGM2 start of every round and just run Ray on next round if I get it instead. Once I get RGM2 I run RGM2 trades with EMPs when I run out of ammo for the rest of the game. With any luck the strat should get you to 50 in around 6 1/2 hours, but I had horrible ammo luck (many cases of ammo drop with full RGM2) and lost a perfect drop cycle on round 35 due to a bomb on round 36 this run so my run turned into a very ugly 8 hour ordeal with 7 RGM2 trades. MIni Review : I consider BO2 Bus Depot the most difficult studio zombie map I have ever played, even more so than BO1 Nacht. I had to grind this thing for months before I finally figured out how to fairly reliablly hit high rounds, and even after all that grinding still the tiniest miscue or game lag from the stupid BO2 theater mode on my system can result in a very quick game over. There is near zero tolerance for any kind of a movement or tactical mistake on the map. It has a ridiculous number of player unfriendly game mechanics such as the ability of the zombies to quickly double swipe if you are not constantly dashing, fire zombies which nade the player when they die in proximity, very fast dieout respawns, stealth zombies which make no noise and sneak up from the side or behind you, very slow bomb dieout combined with very fast new spawnup, very nasty bombed zombie mobility freeze, and predictive path blocks (when new spawn comes in a zombie will not spawn in a random location but it will spawn in a place most dangerous to the player position, the AI is really out to get you on this map). All that being said I believe this is really a gem of a map design because it is beatable with precision strat and movement and tactical play and really forces the A+ game out of a player interested in hitting high rounds. That makes it a great challenge map for more experienced players looking to elevate their play to a next level, and is the main reason I like the map and kept grinding at it because I like "beatable" challenge. This map is going to be a complete bust for less experienced or newer players though because it is just too player unfriendly in too many dimensions .... it throws down the gauntlet for the manic player and says bring it on dude, beat me if u can. In summary I consider this actually a great little map for what it was designed for (to bring challenge to the next level for highly experienced zomb warriors).
