Chopin Butterfly Etude & Skryabin Mosquito Etude (with score)
From the album "Nocturnal Fantasies", which features juxtapositions of similarly-titled pieces by Chopin & Skryabin, this video pairs the "Butterfly" Etude of Chopin and the "Mosquito" Etude of Skryabin. The Butterfly (Op.25 No.9) is in G-flat major, the Mosquito (Op.42 No.3; there is a typo in the CD booklet) in F-sharp major, and both etudes last barely a minute long!
