Batman arrives at the Vale Residence, finding Mrs. Vale's corpse and signs of a struggle. He deduces that Vicki murdered her parents to access her foster father's Water Heating Company. He discovers the Vale's foster son hiding under the stairs. The boy helps prove Batman's theory, and a drone controlled by the Penguin attacks. Batman destroys the drone, but one of his gadgets malfunctions during the fight. Gordon reveals his findings and leaves to investigate the problem with his gadget. Returning to the Batcave, Bruce views the gadget, only to find that it was functioning normally, but receiving a signal from Wayne Enterprises. With Lucius' help, he realizes that Penguin is hacking his tech by sending a computer bug, which is causing the tech to malfunction. Deciding how to stop this, Bruce also learns that Harvey is intending to seize Wayne Manor and throw him out onto the streets. At Alfred's suggestion, he decides to go talk to him, either as himself or Batman. Go as Bruce or Go as Batman Bruce confronts Harvey, who refuses to negotiate despite his disfigurement. Despite Bruce's objections, Harvey reveals that he is a "strong leader" and orders his men to destroy Lady Arkham's chemical warehouse. Bruce is taken away to Crime Alley and executed. Bruce tries to convince his enforcers to obey his orders, but they are executed for "not having the backbone." Gordon arrives and guns down the enforce(s) before they can shoot Bruce. Gordon worries that they might not be able to save or stop Harvey, and with Bruce's advice, he decides to act upon it. Gordon offers Bruce a lift, but declines, stating he has another way. Bruce meets Harvey as Batman, hoping to negotiate with him. Batman finds Dent on the roof, talking to himself. Harvey refuses to change plans and orders his men to blow up the Arkham drug warehouse. Dent reveals he ordered Gordon to be executed for objecting, and Batman threatens to tell him. Dent is taken to Crime Alley, prompting Batman to leave as enforcers try to shoot him. Batman saves Gordon from Dent's enforcers at Crime Alley and confronts him about Dent's access to information. Batman advises Gordon on his next steps. Batman returns to the Batmobile and learns that Penguin is using a Black Box to hack his tech. He also learns that Harvey and his men are attempting to seize Wayne Manor. Batman must decide who to stop first to protect his tech or his home. Stop Penguin or Stop Two Face Batman is tasked with stopping Penguin and the Children of Arkham from hacking his network. He barricades himself into the Batcave and arrives at Wayne Enterprises, where he must navigate the building alone or with Lucius' help. Despite being discovered, Batman subdues both Children of Arkham members and Penguin's drones, eventually finding the criminal in the CEO's office. Penguin mocks Batman and discusses their plans for the city. Batman decides to attack, but is thrown into the Elevator to R&D by a drone. Penguin reveals the black box and uses experimental gloves to gain an edge. Batman, despite his combat skills, is unable to use his tech and fractures his leg with a hammer. Batman destroys the Black Box, stopping the hack and saving his tech. He alerts the GCPD and leaves Penguin in a stairwell. Harvey burns down Wayne Manor, and Harvey tells the public that Wayne put up a fight. Batman tries to prevent Harvey and his men from taking over Wayne Manor, but his drones crash. Batman confronts Dent, who orders his enforcers to fight him. Batman manages to take down most of the enforcers but is forced to hide when Dent begins shooting at him. Batman tries to use height as an advantage, but Dent gets shot in. Batman summons a cloud of bats, causing Dent's men to let him go. Batman throws a Batarang into Dent's rifle chamber, causing the gun to explode and burn Dent's left arm. Batman defeats Dent by tackling him to the floor with help from his grappling gun. Dent and his enforcers are handed over to Gordon, who is unsure of how to send him to Blackgate Prison or Arkham Asylum. Bruce arrives in the batcave, learning that Penguin's hack is almost complete and the Children of Arkham have access to the Batcomputer. He decides to cut off the Batcomputer, deactivating most of his tech and crippling Batman's operations.
