Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (PS2, 2001) - A Hideo Kojima Game In 2001, the sequel to the much acclaimed Metal Gear Solid was released for Playstation 2. Sons of Liberty continued the story around Solid Snake and Otacon after the Shadow Moses incident. The game generally reviewed well, but is controversial because a famous twist that happens quite early which disappointed quite a lot of people. The story features themes that were quite ahead of its time, and the message behind it is still quite relevant today. Recently, Microsoft added Metal Gear Solid HD Collection to itsbackwards compatibility program for Xbox One X, which allows us to replay this game with higher resolution on a modern console.
