Randy tells us that the electric awning is a great feature to have, but it is meant to act as a sunshade and should not be left out during inclement weather. You want to run the awning out all the way until the valence is hanging directly down at a 90 degree angle with the ground. Make sure that if you put your awning away wet that you open it and let it dry when you get home to avoid any mold and mildew.
