NIV But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. James 4:6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Colossians 3:12-13 (NLT) 12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tender-hearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. 13 Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you.
