Todd Bowles Was AFRAID The Bucs Would Throw An INT Late In The Game Even With All Their Timeouts

For reasons we still don't understand, the Bucs did not call a timeout after their first play of on the final drive in the fourth quarter with 32 seconds to go. After a screen pass to Rachaad White went for a short gain, Tom Brady connected on a long pass to Julio Jones that got them around midfield with eight seconds to go. With only about 15 more yards needed to get into field goal range, the Bucs didn't have enough time to move the ball as far as they wanted and had to play in overtime, which they lost. The day after the game, Todd Bowles explained why he didn't call a timeout after the first play, saying if they threw an interception it would give the Browns a chance to win it. All of that said, Tom Brady has two interceptions on the season and they threw it on the next play. Sounds like Bowles was a little contradictory about it.
