This is even more true with this song. The nuance of the original Korean seemed, literally, lost in translation, with the story of the poem/lyrics completely changing from one translation to the next. To gain a better understanding, we needed a larger pool of translations to compare (including Genius Lyrics, Google translate, ARMY Base Subs and What BTS Said) as well as consulted the fifth Flower Smeraldo blog post (https://x.com/UKBTSARMATION/status/12... ). These additional sources helped us select a final set of lyrics that both fit the narrative we wanted to tell and, we believe, remain accurate to the original lyrics. Aurora: A hauntingly beautiful song that is even more emotionally charged when they perform it live. This isn’t the first stage mix of TTU out there, but I definitely think it’s the best. A great way to celebrate the anniversary of Love Yourself: Tear. Waffles: The team really went on a deep dive with this song. We all know we’re obsessed with the live version. We already knew what the lyrics were, and the intent behind the story of this song but you really start to dissect everything when you do the captions. We use multiple sources for English translations and sometimes they differ. This takes us down a rabbit hole of looking into the intent behind the song, what are they trying to say here and also what is easier for someone to understand when listening to the song. RM is very poetic in his writing so we wanted to make sure we captured that as well. Such a beautiful song. Delphy: There’s nothing you edit/arrange on this song (and these performances) to make it any more poetic or beautiful than it already is. There were moments from different performances that stood out for one reason or another, so we focused on trying to pull these moments together into one video.
