Restored. Porsche 911 2.7 RS 1973 details restoration at Williams Crawford by Graham Kidd

Arriving in the restoration department as a box of bits and a bare shell. Taking on a job where someone else has started, but failed is harder than starting from scratch. But this iconic 911 deserved the right treatment. Details that will be hidden from the eyes forever more were attended to, every nut, washer and screw was scrutinised. And the car put back together, just as Porscheintended. In fact probably more accurately than original. We completed the restoration on time. To a World class standard, leaving patina where appropriate and mimicking the Factory methods and finishes, the aim, to take her back to 1973.
