Star Parker: Florida tragedy is about mass murderers, not guns

In an interview on EWTN, nationally-syndicated author and columnist Star Parker was asked about the shooting at a Florida high school that killed 17 people. Immediately after the mass murder, Star Parker asked why the killer was able to plan such an insidious mass murder yet no one was able to reach him emotionally as he planned it, including the police. Both parents were dead and he was adopted by a family who let him live in their house. They were also surprised by the shooting despite their support. At the root of it, Parker believes the problem is not the weapons, but really about the psychology of the shooter, a teenager, and how Americans respond through public policy and personal engagement with people as family life has broken.
