It’s located in District 1, right in the city center, and it’s one of the most important historical landmarks in Vietnam. The building itself is a fine example of modernist architecture from the 1960s, designed with clean lines, open spaces, and lots of natural light. From the outside, it may look quite simple, but inside it has many impressive rooms, including meeting halls, offices, a presidential residence, and even a secret basement with old communication equipment. Visitors can walk through the palace to learn about Vietnam’s history, especially the Vietnam War. There are exhibitions, photographs, and original furniture that have been preserved. The garden surrounding the palace is also beautiful, with green lawns and old trees, which makes the whole atmosphere more peaceful. I would recommend the Independence Palace because it’s not just a tourist attraction, but also a symbol of national history and reunification. It allows visitors to better understand the struggles and achievements of Vietnam in the 20th century.
