Riivo J plays a piano cover of "Smooth" by Itaal Shur and Rob Thomas. "Smooth" is a collaboration between Latin rock band Santana and Matchbox Twenty vocalist Rob Thomas. When they finished the song, Thomas suggested George Michael as the vocalist. After hearing the song, Santana decided to have Thomas record the final version. "Smooth" was originally conceived by Shur as a song called "Room 17". The final version of the song was released in June 29, 1999. It won three Grammy Awards: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. In the United States, it topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks. As of 2018, "Smooth" is ranked the second most successful song of all time by Billboard.
