New Milford Ave RR Crossing Dumont NJ (4/14/22)

This video was at New Milford Ave RR Crossing in Dumont NJ along the CSX river line. This video shows CSX Q434 head north up the CSX river line. This crossing did get a full upgrade a year and a half ago in October of 2020. This crossing has modern CSX signals with Leotek EV series LEDs and NEG E-bells. I am still a little surprised CSX put up a cantilever here, as I thought that was for crossings with two lanes in each direction. But Columbia Ave is getting one soon and they are cool with the bright LEDs. The bells ring while the gates are down because the gate on the other side does not come down all the way. That is because it is so big and heavy. Although I like hearing the bells ring until the gates rise! This was a nice long mixed freight!
