A dog recovering from severe stab wounds and a respitory infection is getting a second chance at life. The pup who's name is Trooper is on his way to a family in dire need of comfort as they battle through flood water that has already caused damage to many homes in Colorado. After several weeks of treatment and rest, Trooper, who was found at the Kern County Animal Shelter is well on his way to a better life. The challenge now is getting him there.
