Add one finger for the 4 chord: Simply add your fourth finger to the basic shape for the Csus2 Five chord requires a small move: Adjust finger positioning and use open strings to play the D major (five chord) triad easily. Play along with songs: Use these triad shapes to play choruses like “Way Maker,” covering most chords with minimal movement. Simplicity is strength: Many guitarists fear simple parts but simple triads create a modern, professional sound and build confidence.
