Back in October, I got a chance to get one of the bamboo rods out and see what it could do against some bigger fish. The day was so good I had to show it in two parts. In part 1, a bigmouth buffalo proves that just because bamboo is delicate, it doesn't mean it's fragile. Although, I will admit I was a little nervous at a couple points in the day. This is also the first half of what turned out to be a seven species day, so be sure to catch part 2 when it comes out. Tight Lines!! Algorithm bait: fly fishing, warmwater fly fishing, bamboo fly rods, spillway fishing, bigmouth buffalo, crappie, white bass, sand bass, drum, fur collar nymph, nymphing, Kansas fly fishing
