COLUMBUS (Ken Hines) -- A teen accused of stabbing a jogger to death in a Blendon Township park is expected to plead guilty to charges stemming from the murder. Jordan Stewart has agreed to plead guilty to charges of murder and tampering with evidence in connection with the fatal stabbing of Jane Juergens in Ridgewood Park on October 21, 2013, according to the Franklin County Prosecutor's Office. Stewart, then 16, allegedly stabbed Juergens dozens of times during an attack that occurred when the victim was jogging in the park. Stewart, who has a history of mental illness and criminal behavior, was a resident of a Blendon Township group home when the murder occurred. Under the terms of the agreed-upon plea deal, Stewart would be sentenced to 18-years-to-life in prison, and certified as an adult. The teen is expected to enter his plea after he is indicted on the charges.
