FACTS: Six Flags Great Adventure has now officially confirmed the rumors: Kingda Ka is no more. The park has announced that a "completely new", "multi-world-record-breaking launch coaster" is slated to take its space come 2026. Further details will come in Summer 2025. CONCEPT: Two iterations of this Mack Rides Xtreme Spinning Coaster layout have been discussed and shown in past Cedar Fair passholder surveys- a 200ft version, of which I have already recreated; and this 400ft version. As of posting this, there is no direct proof that this is the future replacement for Kingda Ka- but I believe it should be viewed as the leading candidate. (No, the name "Spinda Ka" is not real, but it's kinda fun!) CONCEPT STATS: -Height: 400ft -Length: 1,934ft -Speed: 100mph -Launches: 3 (70mph, 75mph (inverted), 100mph) -Trains: 2, 20 passenger trains World Records: -Tallest spinning coaster -Fastest spinning coaster -World's first inverted launch -I'm sure Six Flags can invent more
