Speaking to reporters on Wednesday (14 July), Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said that the situation involving the KTV lounge cluster is "troubling and disappointing". Mr Ong urged those who have visited KTV lounges in the past 14 days, or from 29 June, to come forward to get tested for COVID-19 so as to protect everyone. "You go to any of our screening centres, and you can book an appointment. The entire testing process is confidential, and your privacy is protected," he added. A total of 42 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore have been linked to the KTV lounge cluster, as reported by the Ministry of Health (MOH) yesterday. This takes the number of cases linked to the KTV cluster to 54.
