Yesterday my engine began to develop more than normal exhuast smoke, to be honest it was billowing out black smoke to the point that the engine last power and I had to stop on the highway. Parked up on the highway I did try to restart the engine what I was greeted with white smoke and motor knock. Late last night we towed the Land Rover home, where today I began stripping the engine to find the fault. Eventually I did get it to start again without any motor knock but as you can see here I have excessive crankcase smoke. ( The hoses to the turbo are removed in this video )
