In this video, I’ll show you the easy methods to permanently delete the Windows.old folder. Let’s get started. Method 1: 1. Click the Start button and go to Settings. 2. Click on System. 3. Select Storage from the left panel. 4. Click on Temporary files under the local disk section. 5. Windows will scan and list all temporary file types. 6. Check the box next to Previous Windows installation(s). 7. Click on Remove files at the top. 8. Wait for Windows to delete the Windows.old folder completely. Method 2: 1. Press Windows + S and type Disk Cleanup. 2. Right-click on Disk Cleanup and choose Run as administrator. 3. Select the drive where Windows is installed (usually C:) and click OK. 4. Scroll and check the box for Previous Windows installation(s). 5. Click OK, then click Delete Files to confirm. 6. Disk Cleanup will now delete the Windows.old folder. And that's it!
