Points to keep in mind for successful day one. Send full march to alliance farm or mine well in advance of day 1. About 4-7 hours prior to reset for gathering day, send out gathering troops and make sure they're timed to return AFTER reset. After reset, send full marches out again to use the INSTANT GATHER skill on the economy tab of lord talents.
