Sonu Nigam, who possibly woke up annoyed because of an azaan from a nearby mosque, thought it would be a good idea to vent his anger on Twitter. He made national headlines after he tweeted against the use of loudspeakers in mosques, temples and gurudwaras, termed it "forced religiousness" and "gundagardi". God bless everyone. I'm not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. Many Muslims were offended because they thought it was a direct attack on Islam, Hindus got offended because he said loudspeakers shouldn't be used in temples as well, and liberals got offended because they thought Sonu's stand was not "liberal" enough. Today, in a new tweet, Sonu Nigam has slammed those who couldn't tolerate his opinion and freedom of expression. Saying their stand exposes their intelligence quotient (IQ), Sonu said that he stands by his statement that loudspeakers should not be allowed in mosques and temples. Dear everyone. Your stand exposes your own IQ. I stand by my statement that loudspeakers should not be allowed in Mosques & Temples. Period Sonu Nigam (@sonunigam) April 18, 2017 When I am talking about Loudspeakers, I did mention Temples and Gurudwaras too. Is it that hard to comprehend? Loosen up guys.
