World Environment Day 2021: ECO EGYPT's Marine Conservation Campaign

World Environment Day 2021: Eco Egypt Experiences is launching the first Marine Conservation Campaign in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. 80% of travel in Egypt targets the Red Sea, increasing the pressures on its ecosystem and negatively impacting this highly sensitive biodiversity hub. Safeguarding our children’s right to inherit Egypt’s natural heritage means protecting our pristine ecosystems. The Marine Conservation Campaign raises awareness about the importance of conserving nature. In partnership with UNDP Egypt, Ministry of Environment, the Global Environment Facility, Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Egyptian Hotels Association, and the Chamber of Diving & Water Sports, the campaign raises awareness through a series of videos showcasing harmful tourist practices and offers easy solutions to help protect and restore our ecosystems.
