FORECAST: HAIL, TORNADOES & FLOODING: MULTI-DAY STORM THREAT BEGINS TONIGHT | HailTrace

Storms are back in the forecast and the risk of severe weather is here to stay through the weekend. Today there is a marginal threat (level 1/5) for severe thunderstorms in southwestern Texas into Central Oklahoma. These storms will be late tonight and into early Thursday morning, with high hail being the original concern in isolated storms. As the system pushes east strong winds and a low tornado threat cannot be ruled out. On Thursday the marginal severe threat remains but shifts slightly east. From Oklahoma into parts of the ArkLaTex region and Lower/Mid Mississippi Valley, the threat for isolated severe storms is possible. All modes of severe weather will be possible on Thursday. If the timing of storms continues to slow in the morning, it will increase the threat for severe weather back into eastern Oklahoma and delay the storm risk in the evening. By Friday we see an increased severe risk which will impact parts of the Deep South. A slight risk (level 2/5) is in place with all hazards possible.
