(mostly) Watch Crowbcat's original video:    • TF2 2007 and now   All footage was recorded with the latest versions of TF2/Classic: TF2: May 1, 2025 Patch TF2Classic: 2.2.2 Patch (February 1, 2025) Changes to default settings: The FOV of TF2Classic has been set to TF2's 75 (as shown in the video) All TF2 recordings werde made with mat_mipmaptextures set to 0. Otherwise weapon textures took too long to load, desyncing the footage.
