We then progressed with awe and reverence to the Brazen Laver for deep inward and outward cleansing. From the Outer Court, we entered the Holy Place, also referred to as the Inner Court. The beauty of the golden Menorah captured our immediate attention as it illuminated the welcoming Table of Showbread, where believers are invited to fellowship with Almighty God. The Menorah also shone its light of truth on the four-horned Altar of Incense, where we were reminded that effectual fervent prayer, like sweet incense, ascends to the throne room of God (Ps 141:2). What a glorious reality! Now we find ourselves gazing at the stunning Veil in the Tabernacle, the only remaining impediment separating us from the manifest glory of the Almighty, who dwells on the opposite side of the curtain. We have almost reached our destination, but first we must learn the purpose and prophetic symbolism of the Veil.
